About the artist
Colin Brown is an award Winning Contemporary Scottish Artist working in mixed media including acrylic and oil paints and collage.
His mixed media paintings are a fascinating combination of pseudo-chaos and absolute control. The overall balance of the work encourages the viewer to be still and consider each element, colour, form and word association as the eye is directed across the layered surface.
